Resi is the student of the Year! Resi has been singing and dancing with Miss Kathleen for several years. In 2011, she earned a diamond award for her vocal duet with Colton and 4th overall high score at the Spotlight Seattle 2 Competition. She had danced on the Hot Shots, V Foce, and A list dance teams. She is the co-captain of the A List team and is very involved in the fund raising group. She is a assistant dance teacher for the musical theater class and will now be a part of the Broadway Bound team and the Production teams! Way to go Resi!

Colton is the student of the year, and the 2011 National Vocal Winner with Spotlight Dance Cup Competitions in Seaside, Oregon. Colton has had a great year! He has danced on the Hot Shots and A List Teams and is a top vocalist with Miss Kathleen. Colton loves musical theater and has received several judges awards this year for his first year of performing as a soloist. Colton is trained in several dance styles and is a favorite around the studio. He is sure to be a star!

Natalie is the Student of the Year! Natalie has danced on the Ooh La La team and the Off The Hook Team, now for the past two years. Natalie studies ballet, jazz and lyrical. Admired by her peers, Natalie sets a great tone at the studio with her positive attitude and work habits. She assisted her team with several props this year and really improved her technique over the past few months. Natalie also shows her VDV support by cheering on other dancers and soloists. She has been competiting for the past few years and is excited to start a solo for 2012! Congrats to Natalie!

Daelyn is the Student of the Year! Daelyn has been dancing with VDV for several years and has been part of the New Stars Team, the Juniors Elite Team, the CREW (co-captian) and the Fierce 4. She studies jazz, ballet and hip hop. Daelyn has performed in several duos and also competed her solo "Cooler Than Me", that rocked the house! Daelyn is amazing at leaps/jumps and even has some acro tricks. She is about to begin her third season with the Fierce 4, and will be involved with the CREW team and our WICKED PRODUCTION! Great job Daelyn!

Sivan is the Student of the Year! Sivan has been dancing with Van De Veere Productions for the past three years. She has danced on the Junior Elite Team and also a a guest star on the Fierce 4 team in the routine, "Five Guys Named Moe". Sivan studies ballet, jazz, and lyrical and also had huge success with her duo partner, Olivia on a lyrical duo choreographed by Kim Borgaro. Sivan is always working on improving herself and has a great habit of dancing full out! Congrats Sivan!

IVY
Ivy is the Student of the Year! Ivy has been dancing with Miss Kathleen, along with her sisters, for several years. Ivy studies tap, ballet, musical theater, jazz and lyrical. She has been part of the New Stars dance team and on the Sassy 7 team. She is also a vocalist, and has won awards for her vocal solos in several competitions over the last year. She has a great personality and has some of the strongest dance technique at the studio. Ivy was "featured" as the "little child" this year in our lyrical piece at recital.

MEGAN
Megan has been part of the studio for several years. She began her dancing at the West Linn Studio, as a member of the original Junior Elite Team! She then moved to the McMinnville Studio to continue her training in ballet, jazz, tap and hip hop. She was the captain of the A List Dance Team and danced on the VDV V Force team. She is a vocal soloist and in 2010 she won a Diamond Award for her song, I Hate Musicals, that she performed in Hawaii. She has been studying voice for several years and has also competed a hip hop and lyrical solo. Megan has attended the FIERCE Dance Convention where she received a special award from the staff for her love of dance. Way to Go Megs!

Kayla has been dancing at the McMInnville Studio for many years. Kayla has danced with the Mac Attack Dance Team and the Hot Shots Dance Team. She is known as the "great traveler" in routines! Kayla has now moved up to the A List Dance Team and the VDV V Force Hip Hop Team. Kayla is always dependable and works for perfection. She studies ballet, jazz, and hip hop! She has performed at the Blazer Game with her dance team and attended several competitions! This year, she is lucky to perform and compete a duet with past student of the year, Shelbi. Way to rock it Kayla!

LauraBelle was choosen as one of the Students of the Year 2010, and also got her graduating senior award as well. She has danced for several years and has been part of the VDV Force Team, The A List Team and is the captain of the 6 Pac Hip Hop Team. She studies ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop and has had the opportunity to travel on many of our dance trips including Hawaii this past summer 2101. She is also a dance assisitant to Miss Kathleen on Thursday nights with the Pre-Teen Hip Hop class. Laurabelle is known for her sweet personality and great dance style!

Caitlin was just selected as the Student of the Year. Caitlin danced as part of the Off The Hook and Crew dance teams this year. She has studied lyrical, ballet and jazz this year as well. Caitlin performed a solo at the OnStage New York competition winning a High Silver Award choreographed by Miss Jacqui. She was awarded the Outstanding Potential Award from the judges. She is a beautiful dancer and has amazing leaps! She is super strong and has great control! We can't wait to see more of her next year!

Megan was just selected as the Student of the Year! Megan was the team captain of The Crew dance team, and danced as part of the Junior Elite dance team this year. She studied jazz and ballet as well. With her duo partner Jordyn (Studio Excellence Winner), she competed Ying Yang, a hip hop dance choreographed by Stacy J. She and Jordyn won the Overall High Score Teen Duo/Trio for the primary division at the OnStage New York Competition! Megan has made huge progress this year and is always positivie. She is a great face to have around the studio!

Cezi was just selected as Student of the Year. This year, Cezi was a member of the New Stars Dance Team and studied ballet and musical theater. She studied voice with Miss Kathleen this year to perform two vocal solos, Millie and Broadway Baby! Cezi is a little professional with great stage presence! She won GOLD on her solo a the OnStage New York Competition and 5th place overall high score! She will be traveling to Hawaii to attend the Spotlight Dance Cometition and is lucky to go to Natioanls this summer with her songs! Great job Cezi!

Leah was choosen as one of the West Linn Students of the Year, 2009! Leah is a well rounded dancer and has studied all forms of dance and is one of Miss Kathleen's "DIAMOND" singers. As a soloist in 2009, she received 4th overall at the Spotlight Dance Cup Regional Portland Competition in the Vocal Division. She received a Diamond in 2008 for her vocal performance "Amazing Mazie!" She was a past member of the New Stars Dance Team and Junior Elite Dance Team. She is currently a member of the brand new Off The Hook Dance Team and THE CREW Hip Hop Team. She has performed at the Blazer Game and has attended many competitions and the FIERCE Dance Convention. She continues to study voice and looks forward to many competitions and performances this year.

Ashley is a very talented singer/dancer. She was choosen as one of the 2009 Students of the Year. Ashley dances on the New Stars dance team, and studies ballet, jazz, lyrical, musical theater, hip hop and voice! As a singer, she has received a voice scholarship from OnStage New York Dance Competitions and won a high gold and gold awards for her performances. At the Spotlight competition, she won a DIAMOND and a ruby for her two songs. She has received several judges choice awards and is a great performer!

Madison is amazing! She has only been dancing for a few years and is fearless! She has been part of the Mac Attack and Hot Shots dance teams and was an understudy for the VDV V Force Hip Hop team this year and was lucky to perform and compete with the group! This past summer, she won a scholarship at the FIERCE convention in San Antonio, TX. She is a great performer and has competed a duet with Daelyn choreographed by Stacy J. We are excited to see her grow at the studio!

Rachelle is the captain of the Van De Veere V Force dance team. She is also a member of the A List and 6 Pac Dance teams. Rachelle studies ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop. She has attended the FIERCE dance convention every year and has performed a solo choreogaphed by Kim Borgaro and duets and group numbers choreographed by Stacy J. Rachelle is a great example to all of the younger students! She is a recent college grad, a musician with a local college, and works in the wine industry in McMinnville. She is truly talented dancer and a big part of the McMinnville Studio!

Emilee has studied ballet, jazz, hip hop, musical theater and lyrical. She is a current member of the Senior Elite Dance team and the V Force dance team. Emilee was very successful with her solo in 2010, winning a ruby award and a judges choice award in Hawaii at the Spotlight Dance Competition. She is a past member of the Hot Shots and A List dance teams and is now the understudy for the 6 Pac Hip Hop Team. Emilee has a genuine love of dance and her personality shows it. Way to go Em!

Hope dances at the McMinnville Studio. She has been on the Mac Attack, Hot Shots, A List and the VDV Dancers teams! She loves many styles of dance and has competed solos in Hip Hop, Lyrical and Jazz. She most recently received a GOLD and 3rd place overall for Primary Teen Solos at the OnStage New York Dance Competition in April 2010. Hope has a great passion for dance and also excells at ballet. She has been dancing at the stuido for many years and we are happy to have her!

Madsion is the student of the year! Madi is a very strong dancer who has trained in all styles! She has performed duos and solos and traveld on many of our dance trips. She is fearless and a great example to our younger dancers!

Sara is one of the most successful dancers to have ever graduated from the McMinnville Studio! Sara was captain of the Elite dance team, and was a member of the A List and the VDV V Force Hip Hop Dance Team. As a soloist, she received a diamond award two years running on her lyrical solos. She was "Alice" in our version of "Alice in Wonderland" several years back and studies tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop and lyrical. Sara always set an amazing example of always dancing full out and working hard! Sara we love you!

Summer is an amazing young lady! She is a current member of the FIERCE 4 dance team and is a past member of the Junior Elite and the New Stars dance teams. Summer recieved a Gold for her dance solo and a high gold for her vocal solo in 2010 at the On Stage Dance Competition. With her FIERCE 4 team, she won the overall high score junior small group for SISTERS. She has traveld to the FIERCE dance convention and continues to study dance and voice.

Miss Blake from the New Stars dance team won the Grand Champion for her performance of "Look What Happened to Mabel" at the Oregon State Talent Competition held in McMinnville. She lit up the stage with her amazing voice and great showmanship. What a performer! She is on her way to becoming a great entertainer! Blake was also chosen as the OUTSTANDING NEW STAR OF THE SEASON. Way to go!
Miss Blake took the Overall Vocal Winner High Score at the Spotlight Dance Cup Competition in San Jose, California! Excellent! She took the Diamond Award and overall high point!
Blake is now the 2 time National Vocal Winner (2009 & 2010) with the Spotlight Dance Cup Dance and Vocal Competition. (2009 Branson, MO, 2010, Seaside Oregon).

Miss Kathleen chooses Miss Jacqui as one of the students of the year 2007! Jacqui is an amazing young lady who dances on three teams! She is the captain of the VDV Junior team, and dances on the Van De Veere Dancers and is a member of the Elite Team. Miss Jacqui is also on the teaching staff of Van De Veere Productions, teaching ballet/tap, cheer and hip hop on Thursdays. She is a great choreographer and singer! She does it all. She studies takes jazz, tap, ballet, and hip hop and is currently dancing "Paint It Black", a jazz duo with Brittany.

Shelbi is the McMinnville Student of the Year 2006! Shelbi was a smash in her very first solo, "The Lion King". Since then, she has danced with the Mac Attack Team, The Hot Shots (Captain) and the A List Dance team. She has won several awards and always works for great technique. In 2011, she won the Overall Teen Solo (intermediate) at the StarPower Dance Competition and took outstanding Potential Awards. With her duo parnter Kayla (2010 SOTY), they won the Overall Teen Duo/ Trio with "The Special Two" at Starpower. Shelbi is a member of our fundraising team and has been to several dance workshops and events.

Hailie is our Student of the Year! Hailie has been one of the orginial students of Miss Kathleen and in the first dance recital! She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and hip hop. She has dance with the New Stars team in West Linn, the Hot Shots, A List, VDV V Force (co-captain, 6 Pac, and Elite! She is one of our top dancers at the studio. Hailie has won several awards and has performed countless solos, duos and trios over the years. She has traveled to FIERCE dance conventions, is a part of the VDV fundraising team, and has traveled on sereral VDV trips!

Stefani is the Student of the Year! Stefani has been dancing with Miss Kathleen even BEFORE she opeined Van De Veere Productions! Stefani has danced on several of the West Linn Teams, and is now the Captain of the Off The Hook Team. She received her graduate award and is one of Miss Kathleen's dance assistant teachers. Stefani has competed several solos, and she was THE dancer to get the ball rolling with performing solos!!! She is trained in all dance styles, but tap is "her thing". Miss Kathleen has enjoyed working with Stefani over the years and has many many memories! Way to go Stefani!

Amber is the student of the year. Amber has been dancing with Miss Kathleen since the very begining. Amber has danced on the Elite dance team (co-captain) and the V Force team for several years. Amber has great potential to be a professional! She has great energy and is a beautiful dancer.
