MEET THE NEW STARS TEAM!
THE NEW TEAM IS READY FOR A GREAT YEAR! THE DANCERS ARE WORKING ON SEVERAL GOALS AS A TEAM AND PERSONAL GOALS TO IMPROVE THEIR PERFORMANCE TECHNIQUE. THE DANCERS WILL BE PERFORMING A CHARACTER PIECE AND A JAZZ PIECE FOR OUR COMPETITION SEASON. GO NEWSTARS!

The New Stars Dance Team is amazing this year! They are working on a character jazz dance, and a country routine! Dancers include our Captain Alicia, Co-Captain Danielle, and members are Cezi, Gigi, Megan, Zoe, and Samantha. The dancers are excited to perform at a Blazer game in 2011 and two dance competitions!

THE NEW STARS TEAM IS AMAZING THIS YEAR! THE DANCERS ARE WORKING ON TWO PIECES FOR THE DANCE COMPETITION AND RECITAL. WE HAVE JUST HAD THE HONOR OF PERFORMING AT THE BLAZER GAME THIS YEAR. THE DANCERS ARE WORKING ON ONE JAZZ PIECE AND ONE MUSICAL THEATER NUMBER. WORK IT GIRLS!
THE NEW STARS WIN A GOLD FOR CHA CHA AND A HIGH SILVER AWARD FOR 9 TO 5 AT THE APRIL ONSTAGE NEW YORK COMPETITION 2010. GREAT JOB DANCERS!

MISS KATHLEEN IS THRILLED WITH THE NEW TEAM! THIS YEAR, THE NEW STARS TEAM WILL COMPETE AND PERFORM "WHO'S GOT THE PAIN" AND "FABULOUS PLACES". THEY WILL ALSO TRAVEL TO CALIFORNIA TO TAKE PART OF A NEW DANCE CONVENTION ON THE QUEEN MARY.

The Van De Veere New Star Dance Team won the ruby award (first place) for both of their routines! Great job to all the dancers. We took the Overall Ruby Award (second place highest score) for their performance of Fabulous Places.

THE NEW STARS ROCK CATALINA 2006
The New Stars Dance team joined the Van De Veere Dancers team on an awsome performance trip to Catalina Island California this summer of 2006. The dancers and parents spent 5 days in beautiful Avalon, California. The dancers took an intense dance workshop with Master instructor, Stacy J, from Phoenix at a local dance studio. The dancers were lucky to perform in 2 outdoor performances in the center of town. A great time was had by all!

| NEW STARS TAKE THE DIAMOND AWARD
The Van De Veere New Stars Team takes the highest award for their performance of "Shoeless Joe".This award is HIGH FIRST PLACE! The dancers also took the Judges Choice award for Joy of Dance! "Car Wash" took the RUBY award as well. Great job New Stars!

The new junior elite team has been working very hard this year. They will be performing a number choreographed by guest, Kim Borgaro, to ONLY TIME WILL TELL, and a jazz number, choreographed by Miss Kathleen, to WALK AWAY. The junior team is headed by team captain, Bobbie, and co-captain Olivia. Members are Natalie, Amanda, Skylar, Jill, Kylie, Makayla, and Sivan.

The Junior team just returned from a wonderful trip to Chicago! The dancers took the GOLD awards for My Strongest Suit and I'm Going Bananas!

The Ooh La La Dance Team is performing two routines this season. Business of Love, a jazz piece, and This Joint Is Jumpin!, a musical theater/character piece. The team has eleven dancers this year and the team has performed at the Blazer Game, the Starpower Dance Competition, and is looking forward to the OnStage New York competition!

OOH LA LA DANCE TEAM
2009-2010
The Ooh La La team has done an amazing job this year! The competed a jazz routine to Hit the Road Jack and a musical theater routine to What You Want. The teams received gold awards at the 2010 OnStage Dance Competition.
Three of the team members will be dancing in Hawaii this May and will be going to the Spotlight National Finals in Seaside, Oregon.
This team has been a great group to work with!

The Ooh La La Team is Miss Kathleen's brand new team! These ladies are working hard to master two routines, A Bushel and A Peck, a character dance and Footloose, a jazz routine.
THE TEAM TOOK THE DIAMOND AWARD FOR BUSHEL AND A PECK AND THE OVERALL NOVICE LARGE GROUP WINNER AT THE SPOTLIGHT DANCE COMPETITION!
