BEGIN SEPTEMBER 2010
CREATIVE MOVEMENT/BALLET DANCE 1:30PM-2:00PM
AGES 3-4
Come and join the Van De Veere family with the introduction of dance.
This half hour class is designed for the new little dancer.
Learn ballet technique with games and stories. Your little one will hop and skip all the way to class.

BEGINNING/INTERMEDIATE BALLET AND TAP DANCE 2:00PM-2:45PM
AGES 5-7
Come and learn the basics of the wonderful world of ballet and the fun
rhythms of tap dance. Lessons begin with ballet stretches followed by
classical ballet technique in French. Dancers will master several steps
in the center and traveling across the floor. Learn proper technique
while building confidence, grace, and strength. Every young lady should
have the opportunity to study ballet! Great for boys too! Next, change
the pace and put on your tap shoes as we shuffle off to buffalo, flap
our way across the floor!

INTERMEDIATE BALLET AND TAP DANCE 2:45PM-3:30PM
AGES 7-10
For dancers who have had previous training in one of our programs,
elsewhere, or with teacher approval, we invite you to intermediate
ballet and tap dance. Expand your skills with more technique and
turns. Rehearse combinations in French across the floor and prefect
your skills. Then, get ready for tap! Intermediate students will build
speed and master more complex rhythms. 5-6-7-8!

MAC ATTACK DANCE COMPANY CLASS 3:30PM-4:15PM
SELECTED DANCERS FROM AUDITION ONLY
The Mac Attack Dance Company will work all year learning technique and
two rehearsed routines for competition. Dancers need to maintain great
attendance! Dancers will also attend the Fierce Dance Convention in
July 2008.

HOT SHOTS DANCE COMPANY CLASS 4:15PM-5:00PM
SELECTED DANCERS FROM AUDITION ONLY
The Hot Shot Dance Company will work all year learning technique and two
rehearsed routines for competition. Dancers need to maintain great
attendance! Dancers will also attend the Fierce Dance Convention in
July 2008.

INTERMEDIATE JAZZ AND TAP DANCE 5:00PM-5:45PM
AGES 8-15
Miss Kathleen recommends this class for all company kids! Continue to
work turns, pirouettes, leaps, you name it. Also improve your tap skills
with faster combinations this year.

INTERMEDIATE PRE-TEEN HIP HOP 5:45PM-6:30PM
AGES 8-13
Get ready to strut your stuff in hip hop. We are getting some style this
year and it shows. Come and learn new choreography to some great new
songs. Get your grove on!

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED CLASSICAL BALLET FOR OLDER DANCERS 6:30PM-7:15PM
AGES 12 AND UP
Build your flexibility and grace in classical ballet. This class begins
with stretching and working dancers turn out. Dancers will work on
balance, grace and poise as we travel across the floor in several
jumping and turning combinations. Rehearse several center combinations
as well. Build the foundation of your dance career in this class. Miss
Kathleen recommends this class to all students!

ADVANCED JAZZ AND TAP 7:15PM-8:00PM
AGES 13 AND UP
This class is for the more advanced dancer with double turns right and
left, splits, perfect leaps right, left and center, pique turns,
illusions, Russian pas de chat, and experience in tap. Dancers must
have knowledge of tap terms and be able to master complex rhythms.
Great for Elite & VDV Dancers.

TEEN/ADULT HIP HOP & VDV DANCERS HIP HOP COMPANY 8:00PM-8:45PM
AGES 13 AND UP
Again this year, this is a combo class for hip hop dancers and
competitive dancers. We will kick it with a great warm up followed by
choreography. Miss Kathleen will be playing with different styles this
year and stepping up the choreography. Be ready to work it!

VAN DE VEERE A LIST DANCE COMPANY 8:45-9:30PM
By audition only
The A list dancers will rehearse two routines this year.
A list dancers must be master performers, must have double turns
right and left, splits, perfect leaps right, left and center, pique
turns, illusions, Russian pas de chat, and will be working on triple
turns, heel stretch turns, complex floor work and strive for excellence.
Dancers must maintain good attendance in class.

VAN DE VEERE SENIOR ELITE DANCE COMPANY 1:00pm-2:30
Every Other Saturday
BY AUDITION ONLY
The Elite Team will rehearse 3 routines this year for competition and
performance.
Senior Elite dancers must be master performers, must have double turns
right and left, splits, perfect leaps right, left and center, pique
turns, illusions, Russian pas de chat, and will be working on triple
turns, heel stretch turns, complex floor work and strive for excellence.
Dancers must maintain good attendance in class.
